Governor’s Summer Reading Program winners announced
The Governor’s Summer Reading Program presented plaques to the first and second place winners on Saturday, August 16 in De Smet, South Dakota at the Ingalls Homestead. This is the eighteenth year of the program which is open to children 7 to 15 years of age who read books on recorded cassette or Braille format. Participants are registered with the South Dakota Braille and Talking Book Library. The program is supported the South Dakota Lion’s Foundation.
